Ingredients

  • Gallon whole milk
  • 1 Cup curry powder
  • ½ Cup garlic powder
  • 1 Tablespoon cinnamon powder
  • 2 Tablespoons turmeric powder
  • ½ Tablespoon ginger powder
  • ¼ Cup red pepper powder
  • ½ Cup red pepper paste
  • ¼ Cup garlic paste
  • 4 russet potatoes
  • 3 vidalia onions or large yellow onions
  • 2 Tablespoons butter
  • 1 Cup shredded carrots
  • 6 korean peppers add more to increase the spiciness!
  • 25 garlic cloves
  • 6 green onions or 2 leek
  • 1 Brick dubu or any other meat/protein of your choice

Instructions

  • Start cooking your medium grain extra fancy white rice

  • Pour milk into pot
    a gallon of whole milk next to a cooking pot
  • Add all the powders, paste, and butter
    garlic and curry powders
  • Stir ingredients together over medium heat

  • Cut the potatoes and add to the pot (microwaving the potatoes first will speed up the cooking process)

  • Add the shredded carrots (microwaving first in a small bowl will speed up the cooking process)

  • Stir all the ingredients over low to medium heat
  • Cut the onions into quarter slices and add to pot

  • Mince the peppers and garlic cloves, and add to pot

  • Stir the pot and bring to a boil

  • Strain and cut the dubu into cubes, and add to the pot (if you are using a different protein, cook appropriately first before adding to the pot)

  • Bring the pot to a simmer and keep on low heat for 30-45 minutes

  • Cut the green onions and set aside as a garnish

  • Serve over rice and enjoy!
